Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AuthOS services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Description of Service

AuthOS provides identity and authentication infrastructure for software applications, including:

  • User authentication and authorization
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) integration
  • Multi-factor authentication
  • API access and SDKs
  • Administrative dashboards

Account Registration

To use AuthOS, you must:

  • Provide accurate, complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
  • Be at least 16 years of age

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services
  • Transmit malware or harmful code
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

API Usage

  • API access is subject to rate limits as specified in your plan
  • You must not circumvent or attempt to bypass rate limits
  • API keys must be kept confidential and not shared publicly
  • We reserve the right to revoke API access for violations

Intellectual Property

  • AuthOS and its original content are protected by intellectual property laws
  • You retain ownership of data you submit to our services
  • You grant us a license to use your data solely to provide our services

Payment Terms

For paid plans:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension

Service Level

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We provide services “as is” without warranties of any kind

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify AuthOS against claims arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations
  • Upon termination, your right to use services ceases immediately
  • Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email or service announcement.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kenya.
