Use this guide to evaluate AuthOS without mixing the evaluation with framework integration. The result is a working instance you can inspect and a recorded decision about what to try next.

Prerequisites

  • A Linux host you can use for a short-lived standalone evaluation
  • Shell access and permission to install and run services
  • About 20–30 minutes
  • Acceptance that AuthOS is Beta and its SDKs are pre-1.0; pin exact versions and perform your own security and interoperability review

Run the evaluation

  1. Follow Install standalone AuthOS. Stop if its health and readiness checks do not pass.
  2. Follow Set up the platform using the one-time bootstrap link printed by the installer.
  3. Confirm that the lite workspace opens and that you can inspect the demo organization and demo application.
  4. Review Architecture and the project status against your requirements.
  5. Choose one separate integration or deployment path. Do not add framework packages merely to prove that the AuthOS process is healthy.

Completion check

  • /health and /health/ready both succeed.
  • You can sign in to the lite workspace as the bootstrapped platform owner.
  • The demo organization and application are visible.
  • You have recorded a proceed, investigate, or stop decision and its reason.
